We blame it all on our roots. As sixth generation ranchers in Southeastern Arizona, we make it our priority to raise superior quality range raised beef.
Our cow/calf operation passed down through the ages allows us to trace back our herd over 100 years earlier to the original cattle ranch purchased by our family who came here by wagon from Texas in the early 1900's. This means that not only are we claiming quality on "this beef" but on a long line of cattle over the generations.
We strive to uphold integrity in the beef we raise by keeping our cattle free of antibiotics, steroids, hormones and corn and allow them to live in a stress free environment of sunshine and plentiful feed.
Growing up my momma always worked to feed us "real" food. She bought food, spices and herbs from all over the world ordering through buying clubs and wholesale accounts to get the best price she could for "real" ingredients. After marrying my husband and realizing what a tremendous blessing it was to be able to eat such pure meat raised off his family's ranch, I so desired to share that blessing with all who are committed to offering their families a "real" ingredient to add to their family tables at an affordable price without having to travel the world to find it. So here's to family tables, real food, and committed momma's!
The first step to progress, is to take a step. Often, the first step is the hardest one to take. Our minds are READY, our motivation is SET, but we fail to GO. "Eat healthier" and "loose weight" are on everyone's wish list, but the options and avenues that can be taken to accomplish these results are endless not to mention the controversy over which way is best or most effective. Not having clear direction on where to go and which path to take is usually why we fail to move.
Our advice to you, is to take ONE STEP and be diligent in that step. No matter how small that baby step is, if nothing changes, then nothing will ever change. I believe eating healthier can be as simple as deciding to pour any and all soda pop down the drain from here on out and pay with a card at the pump every time to resist temptation. Wherever your start is, have a plan--tangible goals that allow you to progress through the baby steps to the winner's circle. Funny thing about winning when it comes to a healthier lifestyle is that if you change only ONE thing, you've already won because you are further than where you were.
